In Honor of Women’s History Month
Southampton Cultural Center, Southampton, NY
March 17th through March 27th, 2000

Do not send artwork until you have received and
filled out the application, and received an acceptance letter.

DEADLINES: The deadline for your Application entry
is January 10th, 2000. NO entries will be accepted postmarked after January 10th.
Acceptance letters will be sent out January 25th, 2000. When your artwork is accepted
it needs to be sent immediately to the address that will be given in your acceptance
letter. No artwork will be accepted postmarked after February 25th, 2000. Please
keep in mind that you should already be in possession of the artwork when you mail
in your entry application.

Important show information:
Please make sure you have already filled out your application to register as a Participating
artist. Remember this allows you two FREE slide or Photos to submit to this show.
We will not accept artwork from non-registered artists.

You will receive an application for your slide or
photo entries for the upcoming 2nd Annual SCC Show. The title of this year show is
“Women and Children in the New Millennium.” We are doing a theme show this
year. Please keep in mind that the artwork you submit should reflect the topic.

Please fill out the application that is enclosed
completely, and follow the directions. When you send in your application with your
slides you need to enclose a S.A.S.E. (Self-addressed stamped envelope) so we can
return your slides or photos to you (after the show).

At this time we are requesting that you ONLY send
in slides and photos to be juried.
NO original artwork need be sent at this time; until you receive an acceptance letter
for the individual artwork pieces we are interested in for the show. Thank you for
your cooperation in this matter. Sending in an entry fee does not guarantee acceptance
into the show. ALL work is juried.

Important information about mailing artwork:
All Artists are responsible for their own insurance, shipping and transportation
of selves and or artwork. Each acceptance letter will include detailed mailing instructions
along with suggested packing methods and shipping envelopes to be placed on the outside
of the cartons for quick identification of artwork and who it is from so we can make
easier assessments.
