“Operation Teddy Care”

This organization collects new teddy bears from around the world, and makes them available free to qualified counselors, school personnel, medical professionals, rescue and law enforcement people to use when helping traumatized kids. Children of the rescue workers in NYC will also receive a “certificate of bravery,” and rescue dogs will also be receiving teddy-bear shaped dog toys.
